The newly-launched 2014 Chevrolet SS, GM’s rear-wheel drive high-performance sedan, has received a few upgrades from Ultimate Auto.
The Holden Commodore-based vehicle received a set of 22-inch Vellano rims (a little too large for the SS if you ask us), blacked-out taillights, tinted windows and a body-colored rear diffuser.
The sedan’s interior remained unaltered, but Ultimate Auto added a bespoke JL audio system. The company hasn’t released too many details, but it says “the bass is ridiculous”.
In related Chevrolet SS news, the folks over at Hennessey did their own version of the sedan. The update has no fancy wheels and no subwoofers, but comes with a supercharger under the hood. The HPE600 package helps the sedan complete the quarter mile in only 11.84 seconds at 117 miles per hour (188 km/h).
