About a week ago we brought you news and photos of an upcoming Ford Ranger-based SUV being tested in cold weather conditions. The left-hand drive vehicle was fitted a Territory-sourced rear end a new rear suspension.
Today, our spy photographers spotted yet another Ranger-based SUV mule in Sweden, sporting the same Territory parts and updated suspension. This prototype, however, has Australian license plated and the steering wheel mounted on the right.
Additional details aren’t available at the time of writing, but, as we’ve previously reported, the upcoming seven-seater is likely to be launched under the Everest nameplate. The prototype below its dashboard covered, which suggests the SUV will come with a few interior updates.
The global vehicle will be unveiled by the end of the year and will go on sale in 2015. There’s no word whether the Ranger-based SUV will come to the US, but we think it’s safe to assume it won’t.
