Ferrari gave the world its LaFerrari at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, but it seems that the vehicle’s development may still be in progress. Take the adjacent spy photos, for examples. These show the hybrid hypercar hitting the Nurburgring instead of its usual track tests in Italy.
Of course, everybody wants to know why the 963 HP Ferrari is still covered in camouflage. Well, there’s no certain answer, but a range of interesting possibilities.
The Italian could simply be testing the LaFerrari on the ‘Ring because this has become the norm and there’s no reason to skip the process.
Another possible answer would be that the LaFerrari is starting to engage in the Nurburgring battle with the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1.
There are also other rumors flying around. The first states that Ferrari could be developing a more extreme, probably track-destined LaFerrari. There’s also talk of Maserati developing its incarnation of the LaFerrari. However, we’ll remind you that both had been previously denied.
