The spy shots of the crashed BMW F80 M3 on the Nurburgring, published today, might've revealed one interesting detail about the upcoming model: carbon fibre backed front seats.
If one looks carefully enough at this photo of the car with the driver's door open, he might notice that the headrest of the seat is fixed and connected to the back of the seat. That looks a lot like the carbon fibre backed seats found on the limited edition BMW E92 M3 Carbon Racing Technologies (CRT).
Since the whole development of the two cars revolved around lightness and carbon fibre, be it in its pure shape or the Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer, this presumption might become reality, as an optional feature, of course.
At the moment, we don't have any official info but it wouldn't hurt to keep your fingers crossed though!
