I don't want to start a debate and tell you that I like the C4, but they say there aren't many of us out there. Few people enjoyed this Corvette series, and even fewer bought them.
If you're part of this minority and are ready to instantly jump at the opportunity to buy a model in tip-top shape, man, you'll be impressed by what you're about to discover.

This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette is literally a new car, and when I say literally, I mean it. The car has only 32 miles (51 km) on the clock—yes, you've read it correctly—and is basically a new old car that is only missing the wrapper.

As if the low mileage wasn't enough, this 1988 Corvette also rolled off the assembly lines as a 35th Anniversary Edition. Created to celebrate Chevrolet's 35th birthday, this anniversary model was known as the Triple White Corvette because of the GM brand's color choice. It was painted in white and came with a white interior and white wheels. Everything was white, and while some people believe it looked gross, well, I beg to differ.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to tell that this anniversary model was a rare car. Chevrolet produced only 2,050 units, and only 180 examples rolled off the assembly lines with a manual transmission.

Unfortunately, this example comes with an automatic unit, so it's one of 1,870 Corvettes that left the factory with the anniversary package.

Discussing the car's condition would be a waste of time because everything is in spotless shape. Given the mileage, this isn't a surprise, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves. The car has everything in working shape, including the factory electronic climate control, the dual power sport seats, and the Delco-Bose audio system. The cabin looks fantastic, and the white steering wheel proves the buyer only spent a few minutes behind the wheel of this wonderful Corvette.

Like all the other Corvettes sporting the anniversary package, it comes with the L98 350 V8 rated at 240 horsepower. The dealer doesn't share engine specifics, but it's undoubtedly in working shape, without any fixes ever received since it left the Bowling Green assembly plant.

The car sells with the window sticker, the build sheet, spare keys, and the owner's kit.

The Internet must decide the selling price, as the car sells at auction. The top offer is $20,100, with two days remaining until the digital battle ends. It'll be interesting to see how high the pricing goes, but considering the C4 is often considered the ugly duckling in the Corvette world, I don't expect it to increase substantially in the remaining two days. The vehicle is located in Anaheim.
