Nasty fall for an Yamaha R1 rider in the most famous turn of the even more famous Mulholland "Snake". I still don't get it why so many riders exaggerate the knee down trick in places and at times when that bend can be negotiated easier.
This time, the rider drags his left peg on the road and quickly picks the bike up, which is the usual thing to do. However, most likely due to the surprise, he brings the bike in an almost vertical position, making it obviously impossible to ride through the remainder of the turn.
