Although the company went bust, Rover's smallest offering, the 25, enjoys a loyal following on its domestic market. But keeping it serviced and sourcing parts can sometimes prove tricky, so XPart has come to the rescue of later model Rover 25 owners with the introduction of a novel replacement for the front bumper.
The firm is offering garages the option of fitting a modified MG ZR front bumper in the event that a Rover 25 bumper needs to be replaced. According to the manufacturer, it fits well with the lines of the car and could be considered an aesthetic improvement.
“Every care has been taken to ensure that the replacement bumper is as close a match as possible to the original. With the last remaining stocks of the original Rover 25 bumpers diminishing and no new bumpers being produced, we were determined to find a solution that would allow Rover 25 owners to keep their vehicles on the road,” explains Barry Smith, UK Sales Manager for XPart.
The bumper can now be ordered from any XPart wholesaler under part number DPB002610LML. The replacement bumper for Rover 25 and MG ZF cars is the latest undertaking in a series of ongoing initiatives from the XParts to maintain worldwide supply for the vehicle. Additionally, significant discounts are currently being offered on body parts for cars involved in an accidents.
“By ensuring that owners have access to the parts they need and providing a network of MG Rover specialist repairers, we hope that they will be able to continue driving MG and Rover cars for as long as possible,” comments Smith.
