Woody Harrelson was involved in a serious motorcycle crash, but nothing could stop him from showing up on Conan O'Brien's podcast. "I did go over the handlebar," the actor said during the live show. He also went over the Tesla.
The show had to start with a little delay because Woody Harrelson was late. And he had quite a reason for it. He crashed and flew off his motorcycle over the handlebar and over a Tesla when he was on his way to the studio to show up on O'Brien’s Need A Friend alongside his Cheers co-star Ted Danson.

The 62-year-old actor appeared on the show with his hand bandaged. Conan O'Brien addressed the elephant in the room and asked Harrelson about the "tumble."

"A tumble is a fair term. I did go over my handlebar," Woody recalled what he referred to as an "embarrassing" incident. The crash happened when he tried to pass a Tesla. The EV slowed down in front of him to take a left turn. He wasn't paying attention and slammed into the rear end of the Tesla.

The impact threw him off the bike. He is not a rookie rider, but it does confirm that "White Men Can't Can Jump."

Harrelson admits to using the bike to shorten the distances between two points in LA. "But today, it proved not to be very fast. […] There was some pain involved – I felt the pain – but I never thought I'd be killed or anything," Harrelson added.

The actor's hand was bandaged on the show as he sustained a wound on his wrist. O'Brien told him it was wrapped up like "a cartoon." Ted Danson explained that it was he who had played the doctor and patched him up before the show. "I thought it looked funnier that way," Danson replied. So, he had done it on purpose.

Woody Harrelson and Ted Danson co-starred on the NBC sitcom "Cheers," a series which ran for 11 seasons from 1982 to 1993. The two of them reunited more than three decades later to co-host their "Cheers" podcast "Where Everybody Knows Your Name," a tribute to the theme song of the series.

We do hope that Woody Harrelson went to the emergency room after the podcast and does not trust Danson's abilities, even though he did play the part of a doctor on the soap opera "The Doctors." "I also played a lawyer, so we can sue the guy," he joked on the show.

However, from Woody Harrelson's story, it seems that he was guilty of the crash. Considering the stunt that he performed on the way to the studio, it is a miracle that he was not injured far worse.
