Of the Bangle era cars, the 135i is among the best looking. The front end styling that was first designed for a small hatchback then became a svelte coupe with wavy lines. But even so, we can’t resist featuring an enhanced version with widebody kit as our pic of the day.
This 135i coupe belongs to Ryan, a BMW fan from Sacramento, who decided his widebody compact coupe deserved a photo shoot from 1013MM. And we totally agree!
The new green accents lend well to the black body of the car and create that tuning contrast we like. It also looks like it has straight exhaust and should sound extreme.
“Even though I had to fly, it was no different than a local photo shoot. It went from 5am at LAX to 8pm back at LAX. The shoot lasted for about two hours or so since we ventured a little to the “countryside” of Sacarmento. It was a very nice change for me to get away from the busy urban backdrops of LA. It was also a huge challenge since I’ve never shot there before and had no clue how the locations would look or turn out,” said John Zhang of 1013MM.
