In America, the full-size EV pickup truck situation just got more convoluted as the protagonists are churning out all-new models or refreshed variants one after the other in the hopes of gaining the red carpet's spotlight on the sales chart. Will Tesla's Cybertruck agree or not?
Right now, it's increasingly difficult to choose between the new Tesla Cybertruck, the already-classic Ford F-150 Lightning, the behemoth GMC Hummer EV, or the all-new Chevy Silverado EV RST and the newly refreshed Rivian R1T. Plus, the GMC Sierra EV Denali is also coming along with the Ram 1500 REV.

Some say that Tesla's Cybertruck has a quirky design that withstands the test of time. Others claim that Tesla's well-known feature-rich software environment will be yet another lure – as opposed to Ford, GM, or Stellantis, which have had plenty of software issues with their EVs so far.

However, there are also those who would gladly buy the Tesla Cybertruck instead of any other competitor if the company also sold an ICE-powered version. That's obviously never going to happen in real life – or at least while Elon Musk is present on Earth – but it hasn't stopped the imaginative realm of digital car content creators from dreaming.

For example, Vishnu Suresh, the self-taught concept artist behind the zephyr_designz moniker on social media, has been hard at work envisioning an extreme Cybertruck 'V12' for some time already. The pixel master started the odyssey back in February when he transformed the Cybertruck from a truck into something else – a slammed aero fighter with a massive widebody low-polygon aerodynamic kit and humongous black wheels featuring red brake calipers to emphasize the new sporty ethos.

But that wasn't enough. Next, after the all-black 'murdered-out' apparition, he envisioned a different, crimson approach where his conceptual Tesla Cybertruck wasn't an all-electric automobile anymore. Instead, he swapped the EV powertrain with a twin-turbo flat-six engine from Porsche (!) for his second version of the 'CyberTruck V2' design project. You would think that some renderings with flames spitting out the back through the dual central exhaust system of this rear-engined concept would be enough to prove the ICE point.

Well, guess again, as next in line came a 'Duracell' V12 idea where the rear engine suddenly became a fully-fledged V12 mill! Nope, that wasn't the end of it. More ideas dwelled around the parallel universes of vehicular CGI in this artist's mind, so he proceeded to create a lifted variant of the pickup truck concept, this time fitted with a Hybrid V12 powertrain. The custom off-road lights, side steps, and diffuser completed the transformation, of course.

Now, though, possibly for the last time, he's back to the stealthy fighter jet-like all-black slammed widebody appearance with a satin x glossy camouflage pattern, and the V12-powered Tesla 'CyberTruck' of his also gains a six-speed manual transmission to make the stick shift enthusiasts go berserk because something like this isn't possible in the real world. So, what do you think?
