Being a Formula One driver at Scuderia Ferrari is not an easy thing. You need to think and act like a winner and do everything in your power to actually win races and world championships. All that for two reasons: Ferrari is the only manufacturer to have raced in all F1 seasons and the one that won most world titles - 16.
Simply put, being a Ferrari F1 driver comes with a huge amount of pressure. But on the other hand, driving for Scuderia Ferrari also comes with a number of privileges at Modena, like being able to drive the company’s classic vehicles or its latest supercars. Take Fernando Alonso, for instance, who was given the opportunity to drive a LaFerrari prototype before the Hungarian Grand Prix.
According to Ferrari, Fernando Alonso was involved in the LaFerrari project right from the start and “contributed with valuable insights to the team of engineers and test drivers”. The company declined to go into details, but released a video that shows the Spaniard having some LaFerrari track time. Scroll below to check it out.
