We’re not sure about the green part, but the Nurburgring is starting to become more and more of a hell for the BMW Ring Taxi, as the M5s just keep crashing. The latest accident took place over the weekend and we’ve got the aftermath video.
This was the second M5 Ring Taxi this year, with the 560 hp sedan experiencing an unfortunate pass through the Mutkurve corner. The details about what exactly took place are scarce, but we do know the accident happened on a wet track. Fortunately, the car was still drivable after the crash, but just barely.
To be more precise, the front wheels has lost their angles, so the M5 only managed to limp to safety after the accident - the footage shows the BMW struggling to continue the lap in order to reach the nearest exit, so that complications such as a platform that would pick the car up, would be avoided.
Like we said, the front wheels had the alignment of a one-year-old child’s drawing. The car had to move incredibly slow and you could still hear the tons of tire squeal generated in the process.
Oh well, at least this accident was much less severe than the one that took place in October last year, which saw the M5 take a serious amount of damage.
