Volkswagen has announced the introduction of the Tiguan Match in the United Kingdom today. Described as a model of “strikingly good value”, the Match costs £450 less than the SE model it replaces but adds £700-worth of extra features.
Namely, the Match adds the following equipment to the features already offered by the outgoing SE: RNS 315 color touchscreen satellite navigation, 1700inch “New Orleans Alloys”, standard Bluetooth, MDI media interface, leather-trimmed steering wheel, gear level and handbrake and 2Zone climate control. The new Match also comes with standard front and rear parking sensors and Volkswagen’s latest Park Assist self-parking system.
Available to order as we speak, the Tiguan Match can be had with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines (with outputs from 140 HP to 180 HP), including the 1.4-liter TSI, the 2.0-liter TSI and 2.0-liter TDI, and either six-speed manual gearboxes or seven-speed DGS transmissions. Prices range from £23,245 OTR through £28,740 OTR. For full pricing, refer to our photo gallery section below.
