Volkswagen has announced the introduction of the Jetta GLI Edition 30 in the United States for the 2014 model year. The special edition sedan celebrates 30 years since the Jetta was launched in the US and will go on sale starting early 2014.
Available in two trim levels - Edition 30 and Edition 30 with Navigation, the special edition Jetta GLI is distinguished by 18-inch “Laguna” wheels, red trim on the front grille, a trunklid spoiler and Edition 30 badging, while the Edition 30 with Navigation features an additional red trim inside the Bi-Xenon headlamps. Exterior colors are limited to Deep Black Metallic, Pure White, Tornado Red and Reflex Silver Metallic.
Interior highlights include V-Tex leatherette seats with red accents, red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, shifter, brake level and armrests, carbon-look trim inlays and Edition 30 kickplates.
The Edition 30 also features fog lamps, LED taillights, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, Premium VIII touchscreen radio with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and Bluetooth connectivity as standard, while the Edition 30 with Navigation gets Keyless access, the RNS 315 touchscreen navigation system. a rearview camera, LED daytime running lights and Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting.
