The Ford Mustang GT, one of America’s reborn V8 legends, has received a new modification kit from professional driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Michigan-based Classic design concepts.Dubbed the RTR, the package offers both performance and visual upgrades for the pony car and has been created as a dealer-installed feature.
“The 2011 Ford Mustang is known for its incredible performance and impressive looks, and now there’s a new package that takes those qualities one step further – Mustang RTR. The dealer-installed package from Vaughn Gittin Jr., driver of the Monster Energy/Falken Tire 2011 Mustang GT in Formula Drift, and Ford Racing Performance Parts, is aimed toward a new generation of Mustang owners,” stated the press release.
The performance upgrades list includes a Ford Racing calibration with a high-flow air filter, Ford Racing mufflers and a Ford Racing handling pack (custom-made dampers and springs).
The ‘Stang rides on unique RTR 19 inch, which are wrapped in high-spec Falken FK-452 tires, which feature multiple performance technologies.
The Mustang RTR likes to show its extra muscle by wearing a chin spoiler with splitter and supports, rocker splitters, a rear diffuser and aluminum rear spoiler, as well as a RTR stripe scheme. The interior of the car has received RTR floor mats, shifter knob and logos.
The RTR package is already available at select Ford dealerships throughout the U.S.
