Many automotive enthusiasts lust for a supercharged AMG vehicle and German tuner Vaeth is now here to quench this thirst by giving us the V63 Supercharged Tuning Kit.
Besides the supercharger, the 6.2-liter V8 has been gifted with an intercooler, a stainless steel exhaust and, of course, a new ECU map. Thus, the unit now delivers 680 hp and a peak torque of 620 lb-ft (840 Nm), instead of the stock 457 hp and 443 lb-ft (601 Nm).
This allows the vehicle to complete the 0 to 62 mph spring in 4 seconds flat (0.4 seconds quicker than the standard model) and hit a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h). The vehicle offers matching stopping power, as it was fitted with a new set of brakes, with goodies such as 380 mm front rotors and stainless steel brake lines.
However, if you’re ready to leave the brake pedal alone and abuse the throttle one, the power will be sent to the road via a limited slip differential, while the connection will be provided by a set of 20-inch rims and a Clubsport adjustable coilover suspension that can bring the car closer to the gorund by between 20 and 65 mm.
The exterior of the vehicle has received a moderate treatment, with the same approach being used for the cabin.
