The new 911 Targa in Detroit: It came. It saw. It conquered everything. So, what's Porsche's next step for world domination? We could focus on the Cayenne facelift and the hundreds of thousands of new customers that will bring, but why would we when there's the Safari!
Safari what? Rumor has it that 911 Safari concept will debut at this year's Beijing Auto Show in April, paying homage to a legend in the rally world, the Type 959 that in 1986 won the Paris-Dakar rally with a 1-2 finish.
Taking the shape of the current generation 991 and turning it into a rally car is just what TopSpeed decided to do, thus giving us precious insight into what to expect. A raised body, side air intakes from the Turbo S and a scoop on the roof are just some of the stand-out features. Of course, there's also the four rally-style lights added for better visibility during those hard stages.
