Tesla has always attracted worldwide attention with its business mantra that EVs can become mainstream options and daily commute partners. And the focus comes from everywhere, including the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators.
They are the center of attention everywhere – for both the good and the bad reasons. Just recently, someone vandalized dozens of Cybertruck EV pickup trucks awaiting delivery at a Service Center in Fort Lauderdale and embedded them with a strong message sent to Musk and company. Of course, people immediately saw the 'bright' side of the situation and proposed that Tesla could sell them as a limited edition.

Going back to more serious business, we heard that Tesla's Model Y, formerly the number one vehicle in Europe, has currently plunged to the 18th position – so it's probably unlikely to replicate the attempt at becoming the world's best-selling passenger-focused vehicle this year. As such, perhaps that often-rumored 'Juniper' refresh isn't such a bad thing after all – and perhaps the lackluster performance will convince Musk to bring it to market sooner than planned.

Until then, of course, the Cybertruck, the refreshed Model 3, and also the Model Y will remain the bread and butter of the company. How about the Model X and Model S, you say? Well, "Tesla gave the automotive world a jolt with the Model S, its 2012 electric powerhouse," says a member of the parallel universe of vehicular CGI - Avarvarii Automotive Artworks (aka avarvarii on social media). With continued upgrades, it has reached the incredible level of the 1,020-horsepower Plaid – but it's also not the top dog anymore because the last big update came back in 2016.

Rivals like the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and the Lucid Air Sapphire have finally caught up and even overtook it. As such, the pixel master believes that Tesla will soon tap into its new resource – the 'NV9X' architecture set to debut next year at Giga Texas and finally deliver their first-ever second-generation automobile. Yes, we didn't forget about the Roadster 2.0 – but that one is a chimera already.

To support his claims taken from the rumor mill, the CGI expert has also imagined a potential second-generation Tesla Model S illustration that accompanies the long and thoughtful post. Of course, he's not the only pixel master envisioning a new iteration of Tesla's original sedan, but at least he's the first one to admit that "our exclusive illustration of the next-gen Tesla Model S is largely speculative, as there is no hard intel on the car yet. However, it was an exciting design exercise that we hope you will enjoy."

As for technical details, there are none at the moment. Tesla will obviously draw inspiration from the lessons learned with the Tesla Model 3 update and the upcoming Model Y refresh, the Cybertruck's powertrain, the 4680-cell format push, and perhaps will make the next Model S even more powerful than the current Plaid – just to shut up the fans of Lucid Air's 1,234- horsepower Sapphire monster. What do you think?
