The fact that Toyota and Lexus deliver some of the most appreciated cars in North America is a well known fact. Just take a look at the Camry, who is still at the top of the mid-size sedan market.
But other Toyota and Lexus-badged vehicles are successful as well, and AutoPacific’s 2013 Ideal Vehicle Awards just confirmed it by including three such models in their recent accolades.
Yesterday, the Toyota Avalon Hybrid flagship sedan was named the Hybrid/EV of the year, while the Lexus ES 350 was named the ideal luxury mid-size car of 2013. Finally, the Lexus RX 450h was awarded the ideal hybrid crossover accolade.
AutoPacific’s Ideal Vehicle Awards are based on a model-year survey of more than 52,000 vehicle owners across all manufacturers. The survey covers 15 automobile attributes, including exterior styling, passenger roominess, cargo space, driver’s seat comfort, power and acceleration, ride, handling, and safety features.
