Usually, drug smugglers come with very creative ideas of stashing the “goods” in a vehicle and transport them without attracting attention.
However, some novices in Halifax, Canada, tried to ship whole pots of full grown marijuana plants with a Toyota sedan, probably a Corolla.
The vehicle was pulled over Sunday at about 10 p.m and the police officer wouldn’t believe his eyes after seeing the driver surrounded by 20 marijuana plants scattered both on the passenger and the back seats.
If that wasn’t enough, the driver’s friend helping with the hauling was found sitting in the trunk of the Toyota to make more room for the plants. The 23- and 24-year-old men from Hatchet Lake, N.S, will each face charges for possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation.
