Britain is preparing to host the 2012 Olympics, but Top Gear has its own plans for what the kind of sports that are included in the competition should be like. Top Gear Live is moving into its new ExCel home, very close to the Olympic site for London dated (24-27 November) and it has a few suggestions for the International Olympic Committee.
Clarkson, May and Hammond will take part in the world’s first Moped Charioteering Race, with the vehicles designed by the boys and powered by 125cc mopeds. Next up, we have the Car Curling - real cars on castors, a target and an internal combustion engine sweeper.
How about Top Gear Live’s version of the traditional English village game “Splat the Rat” Instead of a toy rat, we’ll have RC cars, which will be crushed using mechanical weapons.
You can find out more about the show on its Facebook page.
