As people in many parts of the world are getting ready for their summer vacations, the popularity of camper vans is soaring to new heights. Due to the convenience, open-road freedom, and immersion in nature they afford, camper vans are considered by many the ultimate adventure machines.
There are oodles of camper vans out there ready to unlock the open road to freedom and adventure, but few manage to impress the way those built by Poland-based Affinity RV can. Ever since it started its journey in camper van manufacturing back in 2020, the Affinity brand has put its own distinctive stamp on the marketplace with innovative layouts and sleek finishes.

For Europeans looking to embark on a camper van adventure and explore new places in comfort this summer, Affinity has added a new model to its lineup. It's called the Affinity M Four and offers a modern and comfortable mobile habitat for a roaming family of four.

Based on a MAN TGE, the new Class-B motorhome is really compact at 599 cm (236 inches) long, 219 cm (83 inches) wide, and 290 cm (114 inches) high, but it comes with everything a family needs for outdoor adventures and looks and lives more like larger Class-C motorhomes. The MAN panel van it is based on is a reliable machine powered by a 2.0-liter engine outputting 177 hp, coupled to an 8-gear automatic transmission. It is built to handle tough conditions and long-distance travel with ease, making it a great base for a campervan.

Despite the limited square footage of the van's interior, Affinity M Four comes with an incredibly functional layout that allows for a comfortable traveling experience. Every time we think we've seen every possible configuration you could think of in a camper van, some creative folks come along and shuffle the basic furniture around in a way we haven't seen or thought of before.

Affinity M Four is designed for a family of four - two adults and two children. As such, it has four buckled seats and three beds for comfortable rest for the whole family. What makes this camper special is the unique floor plan that puts two bunk beds at the rear of the vehicle and a convertible dinette that transforms into a master bedroom at night at the front.

There is also a compact kitchen, a wet bathroom, and an abundance of storage solutions to meet the travelers' every need. Everything inside this van is so well thought-out that the only real preparation you need to make before embarking on a new adventure is to fill the tanks with fuel and water and grab some clothes and provisions.

"The task we set ourselves before starting the work on the new model was the maximum optimization of the space provided by the short version of the MAN TGE," Affinity RV mentions. And they truly managed to efficiently use every square inch of the available space.

Affinity M Four boasts an open layout, meaning there is no formal separation between the driver's cab and the actual living space. This not only makes the interior feel more spacious but also allows the use of the swiveling front seats as additional seating in the dining area.

The van's front dinette also comprises a two-seat bench and an adjustable table, creating the perfect setup for family dinners. The design of this convertible dinette is very different from the norm, though. Instead of transforming into a single bed, as we've seen in other camper conversions, the two-seat bench folds out to reveal a 192 x 125 cm (6.3 x 4.1 foot) double bed. Unfolding the bed is a really quick and easy procedure, as is the process of returning the seat to its original position, as demonstrated in the video embedded below. This ingenious solution enhances functionality and allows full use of the living space during the day.

It's worth mentioning that even after unfolding the bed, you can still access the bathroom and use the stove and the fridge in the kitchen, as the passageway is not blocked.

The bunk beds in the back are intended to be used by children, measuring 160 x 65 cm (5.2 x 2.1 feet) and 175 x 68 cm (5.7 x 2.2 feet), respectively. The lower bed can be lifted during travel, significantly enlarging the garage space. The storage compartment thus created allows you to transport anything you need for your outdoor adventures, from bikes to sports equipment and camping accessories.

The miniature kitchen inside this van surprises with its functionality. It incorporates enough cabinet space for cooking essentials as well as a double-burner cooktop, a stainless steel sink, and a 90-liter refrigerator placed at eye-level above the wardrobe, ensuring home-like functionality even when you're away from home. The dinette table can be used for cooking when needed, and a slide-out counter section adds extra space for meal prep.

The integrated bathroom is another highlight of the Affinity M Four camper van. It is large enough to fit a shower, toilet, and sink, with enough space to comfortably use the shower and the sanitary facilities. There is also a cabinet for toiletries, protected by a plexiglass door.

As in any other motorhome, it's the little extras that count and make the camping experience more enjoyable. Affinity M Four comes with two skylights with fans that bring fresh air into the camper, while a Truma heater provides warmth on colder days. Fly screens on the sliding entrance door keep the insects at bay, while cab window blinds ensure privacy inside. Moreover, the 100-liter (26.4-gallon) freshwater tank and the 110-liter (29-gallon) waste water tank are winterized.
