Don't grab that popcorn yet, as Audi Sport hasn't uncovered the 2025 RS 3. Instead, these renderings based on the latest prototypes stay true to the car's actual design. As a matter of fact, the premium subcompact sports model will look exactly like this.
The Kolesa peeps are famous for creating realistic digital illustrations, and after analyzing the ones posted above next to the scoops of the actual model, we can say that this is what the 2025 Audi RS 3 Sedan will look like.

Audi Sport's BMW M2 fighter (with two more doors) has been masterfully imagined. We can't see any differences between these renderings when it comes to the headlamps, tweaked grille, new bumper with integrated apron, generous intakes, and so on. The same goes for the back end, which is home to the new taillights, bumper, diffuser, and the RS-signature large dual oval exhaust pipes.

The pixel manipulator went as far as retaining the wheels of the prototype that recently went for a fast timed lap at the Nurburgring Nordschliefe. If you missed that story, you should know that the pre-production model lapped the 20.832 km (12.9 miles) long racetrack in 7:33.123, or seven seconds faster than the pre-facelifted iteration of the Audi RS 3. It also beat the latest-gen BMW M2 by more than five seconds.

As every Audi enthusiast and not only knows, the RS 3 packs the famous five-pot. It is a 2.5-liter TFSI with forced induction, and it carries over from the pre-facelifted model. The magic numbers are 394 horsepower (400 ps/kW) and 368 pound-foot (500 Nm) of torque, so the European variant is just as punchy as last year's variant. The North American version is a bit more powerful, with the output being rated at 401 hp (407 ps/299 kW).

Audi Sport's chief suggested that this motor has a lot more untapped potential. What does this tell us? That tuning it should be a walk in the park and that the four-ring brand might be cooking up an even more powerful derivative, perhaps one that's a few years away that could be the perfect sendoff of this fun-to-drive model.

Besides the visual differences between the outgoing and upcoming RS 3, it is worth noting that the facelift features a few chassis enhancements. It has optional adaptive dampers and fully variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles. 19-inch ceramic brakes are also on deck, and the prototype that posted the time mentioned above rode on semi-slick tires from Pirelli.

Audi's facelifted RS 3 will debut on August 30, 2024, with European deliveries kicking off two months later. It's yet unknown when it will grace our shores, but it will likely be for the 2025 model year. So, do you like the design previewed in these unofficial renderings?
