A Tesla Cybertruck flipped over while traveling along a road in Mississippi. Three occupants walked away unharmed, while a fourth was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. It reportedly is the first Cybertruck to flip over.
The Tesla Cybertruck is one tough vehicle. Bullets, stainless steel balls, baseball bats, it can really withstand just about anything. But sometimes, a turn can… turn out to be too much.

The Cybertruck reportedly failed to turn while traveling north along Mission 66 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, right in front of the Chamber of Commerce. There is no information on how the accident happened.

However, debris on the road shows that it must have tried to turn at high speed but failed to do so, went over the center line, hit the steep embankment on the other side of the road, and flipped over. The Vicksburg Fire Department was at the scene within minutes to prevent a potential fire of the EV.

The driver can't blame the Full Self Driving system. Even though the Cybertruck comes with FSD capabilities, the feature is not yet available for the model.

According to the one filming the aftermath of the crash, one person was transported to a hospital nearby with minor injuries on one arm. Three occupants walked away unharmed. The four of them left the vehicle before the emergency crews arrived at the scene, which proves that the safety cell of the vehicle acted properly and protected those on board the electric pickup truck.

The roadway was closed until the vehicle was trailered away from the scene. Considering the type of crash it was involved in, this Cybertruck might join the list of totaled Cybertrucks. We have already spotted two of those on the salvage car market. One of them had been flooded, while the other had sustained severe damage on its front end.

However, the Cybertruck with its belly up in Mississippi is far from being the first accident involving a Cybertruck. The model has been involved in several crashes since Tesla started deliveries on November 30, 2023.

The first accident that we know of took place before the end of last year. According to police reports, the driver of a Toyota Corolla caused a crash when he turned right, struck a dirt embankment, re-entered the roadway, and crashed into a Cybertruck.

Soon after that, we got to see the EV climbed up on a raised signage in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The model reportedly crashed before Justin Bieber was supposed to drive it. However, considering that the one providing this information also lied about a hotel valet crashing the vehicle, we take the Justin Bieber part with a grain of salt.

Another Tesla truck that ended up as a write-off crashed into a ditch. The impact simply plucked out the door panels on the passenger side. Airbags on both sides were deployed.
