A used car parts shop got a phone call one day. Hours later, this Ferrari FF was brought in. There isn't much left to indicate it was once a Ferrari, though. The owner bought it back from the insurance company and is trying to make more money.
This Ferrari looks as if it has just driven out of a rotisserie. But what might be quite a drama for the owner is a joy for the used car parts shops, which are going to dismantle it and sell what is left of it on eBay.

Burned exotics have been pouring in for the past months. And this Ferrari FF is one of the many. This car was on a rental drive when it was suddenly engulfed by fire. Long story short: the hatchback is not salvageable.

With no chance whatsoever to get back on the road, the model will turn into a parts donor and save other FFs that have been through crashes that allow them to drive again. The FF is toasted. It is obvious that the fire started in the engine bay, where the 6.3-liter V12 engine used to operate.

The car reportedly belongs to JR Garage, which just bought it back from the insurance company for a very low price: $2,350. So, they couldn't skip the opportunity to get their beloved crispy Ferrari FF back. They have joked about rebuilding it and making it a convertible. But that is not going to happen. Instead, they brought their car to AZ Cycle Parts.

Before the blaze engulfed the supercar, that V12 pumped out 651 horsepower (660 metric horsepower) and 504 pound-feet (683 Newton meters) of torque. Those were enough to make the Ferrari flash from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and run the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds at 102.1 mph, on its way to a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph).

But all those capabilities are so long gone. Now, the top speed of the Ferrari FF is the speed of the tow truck that brought it to the used car parts shop to be dismantled.

The car is now sitting on logs because the three wheels that survived are unable to withstand its weight of 4,145 pounds (1,880 kilograms). The front end is completely burned. By the way the front wheel on the passenger side looks, one might think that would be the spot of the impact that took place before the fire. But there was no impact before the fire.

The blaze melted the passenger side pillars, together with what must have been a panoramic sunroof. Only ashes remained of the cabin and you can't even tell the color of the leather that used to wrap the seats. In fact, you can't even tell that there were ever any seats in there. Long gone are the dashboard, steering wheel, and all the switches.

The door on the passenger side has also been consumed by fire, together with the front fender. But three of the four wheels, with the center caps stolen, according to the owner, will surely make their way to another Ferrari, together with the right taillight that seems intact, and the rear badge.

Those thieves must have also tried to steal the logo because it is bent a little bit, and there are screwdriver marks underneath it, but apparently, they couldn't. The tool kit that was in the trunk is also in one piece.
