As every petrolhead and their neighbor knows, Dodge has a brand-new Charger in its lineup to challenge (pun intended) the likes of the S650 Ford Mustang.
However, unlike its direct rival from the Blue Oval, the latest Dodge Charger does not use a V8 recipe. Instead, it uses a 3.0L six-cylinder gasoline burner with two turbos, which develops 420 horsepower in the base specification and 550 horsepower in the upper specification.

Choosing the Daytona, which is the model's battery-electric version, will get you 496 hp in the R/T and 670 hp in the Scat Pack. The respective thrust is rated at 404 and 625 pound-foot (548-850 Nm) of torque. Dodge says an 800-volt flagship variant is in the pipeline, yet these electric muscle cars (that sounds weird, doesn't it?) sport a 400-volt architecture.

It shouldn't be long until Dodge kicks off the deliveries of the all-new Charger in coupe and sedan form. Meanwhile, pre-production testers keep getting scooped in the wild, like the BEV one we wrote about at the end of June, which was snapped gathering dust in a parking lot and then driving away in complete silence.

Some say the brand's muscle car has lost its DNA for the new generation, and we tend to agree. But who knows, maybe it drives like a dream. One thing we cannot argue with is the exterior design, as the 2025 Dodge Charger was inspired by some of its iconic predecessors, including the second generation made between the 1968 and 1970 model years.

Certain enthusiasts think this is the best-looking Charger ever, and we totally stand behind this statement. We've seen numerous copies boasting a heck of a lot of power over the years and the occasional modern touch in the form of new brakes and suspension, sometimes sprinkled with an infotainment system and superior air conditioning. You know, kind of what Carmstyledesign did with the pictured example.

The rendering artist (yep, these are digital illustrations, unfortunately) took to YouTube not long ago to share a few CGIs of this stunning ride from multiple angles. Do you think that it looks familiar? Well, then you remember the pixel manipulator's similar project we wrote about on June 1, which you can see here.

This is one sexy classic muscle car that sports numerous modern amenities and lots of custom touches. It is a dream build that deserves its fifteen minutes of online fame, and we hope an enthusiast who's in the process of restoring a 1968 Dodge Charger sees it and decides to make theirs look similar. After all, the world needs more cool V8-powered muscle cars.

So, do you like this virtual project as much as we do, or do you think it is a bit OTT?
