Now here’s something you definitely don’t see everyday: a 1934 Dodge one-ton pickup turned into a clean hot rod and fitted with a huge Cadillac-sourced engine.
This stunning, V8-powered piece of art came to blow our tops off via Stance Works and proves once again that an 80-year-old vehicle doesn’t necessarily belong in a junkyard, but can be restored and modified to steal just about any beauty contest.
Painted in a glossy cream white and sporting a new, custom bed, the pickup lost its front hood to make room for a massive 500 cubic inch (8.2-liter) Cadillac engine that delivers 600 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque.
Sure, finding a GM engine in a Dodge is awkward enough, but please tell me you’d say no to having one of these parked in your garage?
