ViaMichelin continues to be one super-popular mobile app, despite many people actually finding it rather redundant given it offers features similar to so many other apps out there.
But when it comes to route planning, ViaMichelin is the name that still excels in every regard, so the updates that Michelin receives for iPhone and Android are good news for plenty of users.
The latest update of ViaMichelin, for example, introduces two different new features.
Firstly, it’s the radius that can be enabled on the route map, which is supposed to provide a better overview of your upcoming route and easily get more information on everything.
Secondly, ViaMichelin now also brings the radius to another essential part of the app, as the developing team explains in the changelog published in the app stores.
“Activate the radius on your itinerary result to check the 'as the crow flies' distance in addition to the route taken,” the release notes reveal about the new update.
If you’re using an iPhone, the most recent version of ViaMichelin is 10.4, while on Android, the latest update is 10.4.1.
Michelin has been hard at work lately to improve the app, and the iOS version is the living proof in this regard. The company shipped no less than four different updates this month, beginning with the May 7 release, which brought “improved application performance.”
Version 10.3 is the one that brough more radius settings. Beginning with this version, users were allowed to view the 1km or 100km radius and customize the reach distance around the current position or any other specific address in the app.
It goes without saying that everyone is recommended to update to the latest version of the app as soon as possible to get all these improvements. As usual, other bug fixes and performance are also likely present, in addition to everything mentioned above.
