The van life trend is still going strong as travel lovers and outdoor adventurers seek safe and flexible ways to travel and explore. While some people want a camper van equipped with all the bells and whistles that can help them fulfill their dream of leading a nomadic lifestyle, others simply seek fun and versatile rigs for weekend getaways and holidays.
The camper van we will examine in what follows was specifically designed to offer heaps of holiday fun in a tiny space. It is based on a Mercedes Sprinter Medium Wheel Base 144 and proves that you don't need a big and complicated vehicle to enjoy an adventurous lifestyle and make unforgettable memories on the road.

This stunning handcrafted camper is the creation of Bristol, UK-based Van Life Builds and is one of the most romantic builds we've seen so far, boasting a gorgeous four-poster canopy bed, a large curved couch, and an interior design characterized by elegance, softness, and a sense of intimacy. With a name like "Juliet," it was only natural for the interior to look like the perfect love nest on wheels.

Van Life Builds is one of the most creative van outfitters out there, and their totally bespoke builds stand out of the crowd with unique layouts and meticulously crafted interiors designed to offer high living comfort in compact dimensions and allow owners to live and enjoy the ultimate van adventure.

Juliet is no exception. The underlining themes of this camper van are luxury, elegance, and opulence. Though it is based on a medium-wheelbase Sprinter, it's still brimming with features and offers everything you would expect from a larger van conversion, including a fully functional kitchen, a bathroom, a lounging area, and a sleeping space.

With a well-thought-out floorplan for two people, carefully selected materials, and a smart lighting system, the designers created the ultimate atmosphere for couples inside this van. Actually, every inch of Juliet oozes romance, from the comfy bed in the back to the pale, calming tones and soft fabrics.

The highlight of the build is definitely the four-poster canopy bed in the back, something we've never seen in a camper van before. A testament to the designers' ingenuity and creativity, this area of the van exudes elegance and luxury, and it simply invites you to light those candles, pop the fizz, and spend quality, private time with each other without a care in the world.

Flares on both sides of the bed helped maximize the available interior space and allowed builders to place the 6.5-foot (198-cm) bed widthwise. The four posters, combined with delicate white drapes and some strategically placed lights behind them, create a lovely, intimate ambiance in this area, perfect for snuggling after a day of exploring the outdoors. A small window at the feet and two round windows on the rear doors allow those inside to check out the views from the comfort of the bed.

The kitchen, located at the front of the van, right behind the driver's cab, is equally spectacular. It boasts a hand-built live-edge cedar countertop with a fold-down extension, a stone sink, and a beautiful Italian-inspired backsplash inserted in the clay stone wall. Though small, this kitchen is functional and actually has two cooking spaces, one inside the van and one outside.

The interior part comes with plenty of drawer storage space, some cute extra shelves on the side wall, an induction cooktop with cedar cover, and an eye-level Dometic fridge. The outside part consists of a space-saving slide-out section with an integrated two-burner stove and is perfect for outdoor cooking under the Thule electric awning.

Opulence is also the right word to use to describe the shower/wet room inside Juliet. It boasts a Nautilus self-cleaning shower door, a beautiful wall paneling with marble effect, a full-body mirror, and a brushed gold trigger shower. A portable toilet is also included, and it slides away in a dedicated nook under the mirror to create extra space for showering. A Truma air and water heating system allows the bathroom to also be used as a drying room for your wet suits or whatever you may need to dry off.

Squeezed between the bathroom and the bedroom space, you'll discover the snug living area, which comprises a plum-colored sofa that is perfect for two people to sit and chat and a small overhead cabinet for storage. A standout feature in this area is the curved clay stone exterior bathroom wall with a special compartment for a bottle of wine. It's a nice touch that adds an extra layer of sophistication to the interior and showcases, once again, the designers' attention to detail.

After seeing the entire interior of Juliet, you might be asking where the storage space is. Well, there is plenty of garage space under the four-poster bed for camping gear and other personal belongings.

As usually happens with Van Life Builds' camper vans, there is more than meets the eye about Juliet. This mobile romantic retreat for two is also perfectly capable of off-grid living thanks to a pair of 175-watt solar panels on the roof, two 170Ah Renogy Lithium batteries, and a 3,000-watt inverter housed below the seating area.

The Juliet van conversion basically has everything a couple could want in a romantic camper van. With its well-appointed interior and fine aesthetic details, this build demonstrates that traveling in a mobile home can indeed be a glamorous experience, regardless of whether you want to visit a state park, a national park, or explore further away in off-grid locations.
