Last week Augusto Farfus managed to finish the Nurburgring race on the podium, a good result, considering the weather and track conditions. Even though he didn’t take the number one spot, with all the crashes, bumps and malfunctions his teammates had his number 2 finish could be considered a good result.
This week the DTM Championship takes a break, waiting for the 15th September event on the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Since it’s going to be a long break, we thought we could bring you a quick glimpse inside a M3 cockpit, to soothe the pain of waiting for the next race.
So, we got our hands on a clip shot onboard Augusto’s car on the Nurburgring, last week. Watching it we really get a good feel of just how tricky it is to drive a rear-wheel-drive car in the rain at extremely high speeds. Oh, and let’s not forget about the engine noise! Enjoy!
