Take a Short Tour of the Lexus LFA Factory

The Lexus LFA is a spectacular supercar, and even Jeremy Clarkson agreed last year that it’s the best one he drove. Too bad it went out of production in December 2012, after just 500 units were made.
And speaking of production, the amount of technology used by Lexus to produce the LFA is astonishing. Toyota had to return to it’s roots somehow and create the most complicate looming machine to produce many of its carbon fiber reinforced plastic parts.

We can sit and wonder for hours at the whole production process, but this short video from Motor Trend’s Jim Gleason will show you some of the main processes.
