The Suzuki Swift is one of the most capable cars in its class, yet it is strangely underrated and largely ignored by most buyers. It could even be called unique in the sector, as it is the only car of its type which offers all-wheel drive. Now, Suzuki have stepped things up a bit, by revealing a more rugged-looking version of the Swift 4x4, called the Outdoor.
Aside from the visible stuff, which includes plastic wheelarch protection, front and rear scuff plates and some black detailing, the car is basically the same as the regular version. The ride height also seems to be raised slightly, but the official information didn`t mention anything regarding this aspect.
It is powered by a 1.3-liter 94 hp engine, which drivers all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. We also say it looks quite good, even with the addition of extra plastic, and it is definitely a distinctive and interesting presence in the crowded and too-style-conscious supermini sector.
