Suzuki’s UK division is introducing the Special Edition Alto Cruz, which is scheduled to enter the market this week and will be limited to a run of 500 units.
The Cruz is based on the SZ3 mid equipment level with air conditioning and pollen filter as standard equipment. The model ads multiple exterior trim updates and has a retail price of 6,953 pounds.
The car comes with new wheel caps, black side moldings and black B pillar trims, as well as special badging. Customers can choose between two non-metallic colors: Superior White or Bright Red.
The Alto is an eco-friendly car, as it only emits 103 grams of CO2 per km and returns a fuel economy of 64.2 UK mpg (53.4 US mpg or 4.4 liters per 100 km).
“Alto is one of the least polluting five-door City cars on the market with tailpipe emissions of just 103g/km as well as offering 64.2mpg on the EC combined cycle,” stated the press release.
In addition to that, Suzuki’s UK arm has extended its “VAT free” offer until 31 December 2010, with this also including the Alto Cruz, which is offered for a price of 6,953 pounds.
“The Alto ‘VAT free’ offer has been extended until 31 December 2010 and, taking the top of the range SZ4 as an example, represents a customer saving of £1,332 with a purchase price of £7,608.Alto is also available under a PCP scheme with deposit as low as £149 for the SZ3 model, payable over three years at £149 per month and an optional final payment of £2,741,” stated the press release.
