Suzuki has pulled the wraps off of their new concept sedan at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show in China, a market where the automaker is clearly focused on.
As the C-segment sedan class is very successful in China, Suzuki follows rivals like VW and Ford by showing off their new study for the class representative, the Authentics concept.
The study is based on sport and elegant shapes, having a long wheel base, a low overall height and a strong character line that gives a wind-cutting profile along with rich curved surfaces.
Suzuki still hasn’t released further details on the car, only saying that the production model based on the Authentics will be manufactured and distributed by Chongquing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co. joint venture in China until the end of 2014.
