We all know that strange feeling you get when you’re driving along at speed and you see a trailer ramped sitting on the side of the road. Some people describe this as an urge to climb it, while other cringe, touching the brakes or veering away for safety. Today we’re here to talk about a guy that basically defines the first category.
We are referring to the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Kansas, who managed to pull one of the most extreme crashes we’ve seen all year. The SUV was travelling on I-70, when it pulled onto the shoulder lane and drove straight into a Ford F-350 that had been left there. This isn’t something to go by, but still, there’s nothing all that special to this accident so far.
However, the pickup track had a trailer ramp attached to it, which obviously caused the Jeep to go airborne. The SUV then came tumbling down, stopping on its side, next to the road.
Many have rushed to say the whole setup was staged, with the clues laying in the totally absurd behavior of the Jeep driver, as well as the timing that led to the car to go airborne.
While that is still uncertain, there’s a Kansas Police report that describes the incident. This mentions the Grand Cherokee driver was injured in the crash, without offering too many details though.
