Pickup trucks are many things to many people. To some, they’re four-wheeled offices. To most, they’re alternative to SUVs or off-road vehicles. If you’re the type who needs more of the latter, the F-Series can be enhanced by the aftermarket with a lift kit.
The latest outfit to jump on the high-riding bandwagon is Superlift, a pioneer in the industry and one of the few suspension companies to be controlled by truck and off-road enthusiasts. For the model year 2015, 2016, and 2017 Ford F-150, Superlift has developed not one, but two kits.
Be it the 4 1/2-inch or the 6-inch bolt-on pack, both lift kits are said to “deliver superior ride quality and handling.” I’m not too sure about the latter, chiefly because a higher ground clearance equals more roll in the corners and, in some instances, tripod mode. But then again, the purpose of a lift kit is to make your truck stand high above the crowd.
If you squint your eyes, the trucks in the featured photographs could pass as baby F-150 Raptors, save for the off-road bits and bobs and the twin-turbo V6 engine with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft available to play with. Be it 4 1/2 or 6 inches, customers can choose between Superide or Bilstein rear shock absorbers. In terms of pricing, that’s $999.95 for the Superide-enhanced pack or $1,114.75 for Bilsteins.
Whichever lift kit the customer fancies, both packs are bolt-on and both allow the use of 18-inch or larger wheels, as in up to 35-inch rubber. In addition to versatility, both lift kits qualify for the Factory Warranty Assurance Policy, and either one comes with a lifetime warranty.

· Sway-bar relocation brackets
· Differential relocation brackets
· Brake line relocation brackets
· Eccentric cam-bolts
· Fabricated lift blocks
