After the WRX STI revealed in Detroit, the next big thing coming our way from Subaru is this, the new Legacy. We're talking about the 2015 model, all-new from the ground up but still vaguely familiar.
That's because this single teaser photo looks not only similar to the Legacy Concept from last year, but also identical at the front to the Japanese Levorg wagon. To give you a good idea of what to expect, we've selected a few photos of that car which you can check out in the gallery below. While the two cars share their looks, they might not share their engines, at least not in America. The Levorg is on sale in Japan with an amazing new 300 PS (296 hp US) 2-liter turbo engine, which doesn't look likely to be coming to the US.
Appearing at next week's Chicago Auto Show, the Legacy is "a midsize sports sedan which offers enhanced drivability and functionality while achieving a design required for a flagship model with a quality feel," according to Subaru.
It will still have a very tough job in the most competitive mid-size sedan market we've seen in ages.
