Subaru commercials are about as powerful as they get, and they are usually about safety, family and adventure. The latest are arguably the most emotionally charged ones yet, and we think they should have been saved for the next Super Bowl.
"I'm Sorry," the first one, really taps into the emotional side of buying a car. No, it's not about having fun, but about knowing your loved ones will be safe in a Subaru. For many years, the company has taken pride in the fact that its vehicles all have the top safety rating from the IIHS.

Even active safety systems have been installed, but sometimes an accident cannot be avoided. The ad shows a number of teen drivers calling their parents, with tears in their eyes, feeling so guilty about what happened. They are met with reassuring words about how all that matters is that they are alright.

The second ad being released is called "Take the Subaru" and leans towards the cute side of marketing. This puts a playful spin on every parent’s worry that their children will never stop finding new and unbelievable ways to hurt themselves, from nunchucks to dart guns and everything in between.

But what can you do once they are old enough to leave the house unsupervised or even drive? Well, you have to rely on the safety of the Subaru.

“We are proud that Subaru continues to be the trusted vehicle of choice for so many families who recognize the importance of safety for our young drivers,”
said Alan Bethke, senior vice president of marketing Subaru of America. “With these new spots, we are happy to reinforce the brand’s commitment to building and honoring this trust and keeping our drivers safe on the road.”

The spots can be viewed in our video section below. However, they will also air on TV throughout September.

Editor's note: If they plan to do any driving with their friends, just check his phone to see if there's an app called "Pokemon Go." That thing is more dangerous than drugs.
