Subaru Australia has announced the introduction of a new Sports Pack for its BRZ sportscar. The package will brand the BRZ model as a BRZ S and add a number of STI-branded enhancements.
Exterior modifications include a new front spoiler, revised side skirts, rear under spoiler, trunk-lid spoiler, lowered springs and black 17-inch STI alloy wheels. Inside, the BRZ gains push-button start and a new “Duracon” gear shift on manual transmission models.
The new package will cost AU$7,995 on BRZs ordered with a manual gearbox and AU$7,195 for models equipped with six-speed automatic transmissions. The new package can be retrofitted to BRZ vehicles already delivered to their costumers as well.
"All indications are that many BRZ buyers want to add some performance touches to their cars and choosing Subaru-backed equipment offers great design, quality and peace-of-mind that isn’t necessarily guaranteed by after-market suppliers,” said Nick Senior, Subaru Australia Managing Director.
