Boy, and we though we had problems with the stray dogs around our neck of the woods, always eating trash and causing a commotion in the middle of the night. But it seems things are even worse in China, where a pack of mutant dogs from hell trashed a VW Jetta.
Some publications have reported that the owner of the man kicked a stray, which then left to return with his whole angry pack. However, we think that's just a bunch of journalistic nonsense, especially when the articles were written half a world away. Dogs are territorial, especially in spring when the mating season causes them to become a lot more aggressive.
What really frightens us is how they were able to bite the Jetta into submission. They pulled at the front fenders of the car so hard that they're now completely bent, just like in an accident. On most cars, there's supposed to be a plastic guard behind that to protect the metal against flying stones and dust. Did they bite though that as well?
This incident reportedly took place in in Chongqing, China. These photos were taken by a neighbor who wanted to show the Jetta's owner what had happened, otherwise he might believe that his car was in an accident.
A brand new Jetta can cost up to 100,000 yuan or $16,000 in China, so you can imagine the owner isn't too happy right now. The dogs totaled the fenders, clawed the paint and even detached the right windshield wiper.
