NBA’s Stephen Curry probably spent Boxing Day giving new thanks and browsing for a new car, because his Porsche got wrecked on a highway in Oakland, California, after it was involved in a multi-vehicle crash.
ABC News reports that Curry’s car was hit twice by different vehicles and that damage to it was considerable. The same goes for the silver Lexus that started this chain of events by T-boning the Porsche Panamera during an improper lane change.
“The CHP says Curry was driving a black Porsche sedan when a driver in a silver Lexus lost control of their car and made an unsafe lane change, hitting Curry's car,” ABC News says.
“After the collision, Curry reportedly stopped in the center median to wait for help. About 10 minutes later, while he was still stopped, the driver of a black Honda lost control of their vehicle and veered into the median, colliding with a concrete wall and then Curry's car,” adds the report.
As you can see from the video available at the bottom of the page, neither Curry nor the driver of the Lexus was injured in the collision. If anything, Curry seemed in very bright spirits, chatting animatedly with the officers as he detailed the circumstances of the crash. The report says he also took the time to pose for pictures with them once they had conducted their official business.
Police are now investigating the crash, working on the theory that the weather might have also played a part in it – at least in the first collision.
Curry, an NBA star with the Golden State Warriors, also took to Twitter to confirm the crash and express his gratitude at being able to walk off without injury. After all, cars can be (more or less easily) replaced, but the body heals slower.

Don’t need any reminders but All the Time God is Great and God is Great all the time! Appreciate all the texts.
