Lexus has, for a while now, been working on some special editions of the LFA supercar that were spotted going round the Nurburgring. The company denied they were production models, but they most likely are. What’s more, it’s strange they have not been revealed yet, since production of the 500 LFAs should be almost over soon.
We’ve already shown you the teal (baby blue) AD-A and the green AD-B. Now it’s time to show you a brand new test car called the AD-X.
The LFA AD-X was recently spotted at the Nurburgring tack featuring a special livery combination of white body, black hood and red wheels. It’s also got a large wing at the back and the body accessories from the LFA Nurburgring Package.
"These LFA units spotted at Nürburgring are one-off vehicles developed by the TMC technical division, and are currently being tested for technical purposes only," said Etienne Plas, senior manager of product communications for Lexus Europe. "We have no plans to produce and sell any new special edition of the LFA."
We don’t believe them!
