The LCI BMW F10 5 Series was already launched a while back and we know what's new by now. However, in China things are a little different, as the Chinese people have a tendency to prefer longer cars.
It's the same with the 5 Series too, as BMW assembles the LWB models at the BMW-Brilliance plant in China, to make deliveries faster. That means that this version will also be updated this year and now we have the first images with the new car.
The difference between the standard 5er and this version is of 12 centimeters in length. Furthermore, the Chinese version will only be introduced on the market later this year, most probably at the Chengdy Auto Show, in September.
At the moment, the starting price tag for a 5 Series is CNY428,600 ($70,000) and can go up to CNY797,600 ($130,000) for the 530Li version, fitted with the N55 3-liter 6-cylinder engine that makes 306 HP.
