The BMW X6 is getting closer and closer to receiving its facelift, with the move expected to arrive by the end of the year and our spy photographer have now caught a test vehicle with less camo than before.
The revamp will bring styling modifications for the headlights, kidney grille and front fascia, - you can see the new lower air intakes, with a different position for the fog lights, while the taillights will receive LED technology.
However, the facelift focuses on tech changes. Thus, the European market will get a new range-topping diesel, in the form of the X6 xDrive50d.
This is expected to use the rumored tri-turbo tech and should be able to squeeze around 400 hp out of 3 liters of displacement. The rest of the powerplants, with the exception of the twin-turbo 4.4-liter one used by the M version, will also be tweaked. As we previously reported, the X6 Active Hybrid will be canceled.
