After reading and hearing all about the new F32 4 Series Coupe, we're starting to wonder how the Cabriolet will be. At the moment though, all the attention is pointing towards the M4 and rightfully so, after looking at the beautiful Concept car launched at Pebble Beach.
You have to admit, even if you're not a BMW fan, you loved it from the first moment you laid your eyes on it. However, just like the regular 4er, the M4 Coupe will also get a brother in the shape of the F83 M4 Cabriolet.
The Cabrio was just spotted undergoing road tests somewhere near BMW's headquarters, in Germany. There aren't many differences compared to the Coupe model, excepting for the folding roof that is, in M3 Convertible style, a hard top.
Even though the car is heavily camouflaged, we can picture that it's going to be extremely similar to the Coupe Concept, with slight differences at the back, where the roof will be retracting.
As for the engine, it will be the same one used on the F82 Coupe and the F80 Sedan M3, a 6-cylinder 3-liter turbocharged unit with over 400 HP and a lot of torque. Sure, the Cabriolet won't be as fast as the Coupe (because of the added weight of the retractable roof) but it will be more fun with the top down.
