We have to tell you that BMW has an interesting way of testing its cars. Earlier today, we gave you you a series of spyshots showing the 2012 BMW M6 Coupe being driven around the Nurburgring. There is nothing in those images that would suggest the vehicle was brought to the limit.
However, in the case of the not M-powered, not M Package-gifted, but standard 6 Series Gran Coupe we see here, the driver chose to drift the car. OK, this is probably a 650i with a V8 lurking under the hood, but when you compare the two photo sets, you still can’t see why this approach wasn’t (also) chosen in the other case...
