When Alpina released the current B3 Bi-Turbo, some people said it won't be worth the money they asked for it. After the first reviews came into light, they suffered a sudden change of heart.
You see, when talking about Alpina, it's not all just price tags, it's also about status. The first test-drive we saw, the one done by Chris Harris was enticing, to say the least. The 410 HP 3-liter biturbo engine delivers incredible torque and the car is mind-boggling fast.
Now imagine the same engine in the 4 Series. That's what the B4 Bi-Turbo model will be. Spotted in the spyshots posted below, the 435i-based car will have the same amount of power and torque and will be lower, wider and more agile.
Sound like the recipe for success and, if it will be launched ahead of the M4, it will provide the best feeling possible for a Coupe (until the beast finally arrives). Until then, we'll just have to do with spyshots.
