It’s been almost three months since the first convertible versions of the 2015 Mustang were spotted in a hotel parking lot in Arizona, and our skilled photographers finally got the chance to catch the sixth-generation musclecar with its top down.
Still hiding its body under the heavy camouflage we’ve seen over and over again, this prototype was caught with its top completely uncovered, which allows us to compare it to the current-generation pony. Well, we have admit that the windshield frame and the retractable soft top are basically the same, so there’s really nothing new to see here.
But don’t be too disappointed, we have a few extra photos with the coupe’s interior and a rear side window comparo featuring a 2015 prototype and a 2013 model. Until new details become available, make sure you don’t miss the rumors that surfaced the Internet recently, including the new “360 degree view” and the EcoBoost twin-turbo V8 engine the Blue Oval company is reportedly working on.
As a quick reminder, the 2015 Ford Mustang is expected to be unveiled in December and shown publicly at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January.
