Hoping you haven’t missed last week’s spyshots of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe, we now present you with a new video of the 2014 S-Class Coupe. Actually, our skilled photographer have captured the S500 model while blasting its V8 engine at full throttle on the Nordschleife section of the famed Nurburgring track.
As with the four-door S500, V8 means 455 horses and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque trapped into 4.7 liters of twin-turbocharged power, which should translate into a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 4.7 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster when compared to the sedan.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500 Coupe is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, along with the V12 S600 version. Until then, check out the video below and stay tuned for more details on the vehicle.
