German automaker smart has released yet another special edition in the UK, adding the Cityflame to its Edition21 version introduced almost two weeks ago.
Said to have “motorists blazing a trail to smart retailers” when launched, thanks to “a combination of head-turning good looks”, the Cityflame comes with an eye-catching exterior and an enhanced interior.
Limited to only 200 units, the smart cityflame will meet its future customers with a black tridion safety cell, grille surround and door mirror caps, exclusive 15-inch alloy wheels, “cityflame” logos and Brabus headlights. Inside, the mini sports black fabric/leather-look seats with Flame Yellow inlays and stitching, leather-look dashboard, three-spoke leather steering wheels with paddle shifters and unique embroidered floor mats.
“smart special edition models have always proved popular amongst drivers who really do want to stand out from the motoring crowd and we expect this latest version to continue the trend,” said Gary Savage, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars. “With its sensational styling and myriad features, the smart fortwo cityflame edition is a real head-turner and is certain to add a huge splash of colour to the life of its owners.”
The smart fortwo cityflame will be available as a coupe or a cabrio, each of them offered with a choice of two engines, developing 71 bhp and 84 bhp respectively. Priced between £10,995 and £12,995, the cityflame will hit British dealerships starting May 2013.
